Dallas Cowboys Defensive Lineman Marshawn Kneeland Passes Away at 24 Years Old

Cowboys player Marshawn Kneeland has died aged 24.
Kneeland was drafted by the Cowboys in the second round in 2024 and played 18 times for the team, including four starts.
He recorded his initial touchdown in the Tuesday game to the Arizona Cardinals when he recovered a blocked punt.
"He was a cherished team member and member of our organisation," the Dallas Cowboys said.
"We send our condolences regarding Marshawn are with his partner Catalina and his loved ones."
Kneeland was selected by Dallas with the 56th selection of the 2024 NFL Draft after his college career for Western Michigan University.
His representative, Jonathan Perzley, said his "heart aches" for the passing of a player who "gave his all" into each opportunity.
"I saw him strive his way from a hopeful kid at Western Michigan with a dream to being a respected professional for the Dallas Cowboys," Perzley commented.
The NFL said it is "profoundly grieved" by the news.
